Information Note on the Processing and Protection of Personal Data
At TOREKS, we are committed to ensuring that the processing, protection, and transfer of personal data are carried out in compliance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 and related legislation (“KVKK”).
Therefore, we take the necessary measures to ensure that personal data processing activities are carried out in accordance with the KVKK and fulfill our responsibilities.
In this context, this Information Note has been prepared by Toreks Electromechanical Service and Trade Ltd. (“TOREKS”), acting as the data controller, to provide explanations on the processing and transfer of personal data in accordance with the KVKK, inform relevant individuals, and enlighten them.
Within the scope of this information note, the data controller is TOREKS, a legal entity responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data, and for establishing and managing the data recording system.
- Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and related legislation, concerning the categories of data subjects mentioned below, within the framework of the following purposes:

- Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties
Your personal data may be transferred to domestic or foreign business partners, third-party institutions and organizations that process data on behalf of our company, authorized public institutions and/or individuals, insurance companies, insurance brokerage companies, relevant third parties within the scope of the performance of contracts, company representatives and lawyers, in accordance with the personal data processing condiƟons and purposes specified in the KVKK, to the extent required by the stated purposes;
- Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection
Your personal data is collected by our company, either fully or partially, through entirely automatic means or non-automatic methods as part of the data recording system, through various verbal, written, and electronic means, technical and other methods, call centers, our website, social media pages, mobile applications, and other various channels, as well as through inquiries that may be made in systems owned by third parties, with information belonging to you. The collected data is processed by our company or data processors appointed by the company.
- Rights of the Data Subject
Your rights are explicitly stated within the scope of Article 11, “Regulating the Rights of the Data Subject,” of Law No. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data. In this context:
- You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed,
- If your personal data has been processed, you have the right to request information regarding this processing,
- You have the right to learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
- If your personal data is incomplete or processed inaccurately, you have the right to request their rectification,
- Within the framework of the conditions specified in Article 7 of Law No. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data, you have the right to request the erasure or destruction of your personal data,
- You have the right to request that the operations performed in accordance with subparagraphs (e) and (f) be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
- You have the right to object to the occurrence of a result against you due to the analysis of your personal data exclusively by automated systems,
- If your personal data is processed unlawfully and causes harm, you have the right to request the remedy of such harm.
You have these rights.
Your requests in your application will be concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the processing requires an additional cost for the company, a fee may be charged according to the tariff determined by the Data Protection Authority in accordance with the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.
Regarding the processing of your personal data, you must submit your application to our company in writing or using secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or the electronic mail address previously notified by you and recorded in our records, through the addresses provided below. Depending on the nature of your request and the method of application, additional verifications (such as sending a message to your registered phone or making a phone call) may be requested by the company to determine whether the application belongs to you and to protect your rights.
